J- LAY Stinger - Hidrodinamik Shipyard

As Hidrodinamik Shipyard, we have successfully completed the engineering, design, and manufacturing processes for the J-Lay Stinger project carried out for PRIO, one of Brazil’s leading independent offshore energy companies, in collaboration with GMC, a UK-based offshore engineering company.

The J-Lay Stinger, one of the critical pieces of equipment used in offshore pipe-laying operations, was manufactured by Hidrodinamik Shipyard in accordance with the engineering and design studies conducted within the scope of the project.

In this project, which required a high level of engineering precision, all processes including design, engineering calculations, structural fabrication, assembly, and quality control were carried out in compliance with international offshore standards.

With this project, Hidrodinamik Shipyard has demonstrated its capability to deliver special equipment production for the offshore energy sector, complex steel construction manufacturing, and high-engineering-demand projects on an international scale.

1. Data Controller and Representative
Pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law No. 6698 / KVKK”), your personal data may be processed by Hidrodinamik Gemi Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (“Company”) as the data controller, within the scope explained below.

2. Purpose of Processing Personal Data
Our Company processes personal data solely for the purposes and conditions specified under Article 5(2) and Article 6(3) of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698. Your personal data (including but not limited to name/surname, address, place and date of birth, phone number, email address, education status, educational background, work experience, foreign language proficiency, attended seminars, conferences and certification programs, references, and any information or documents identifying you contained in your resume) are processed for the purposes of evaluating your job application and suitability for the relevant position, conducting and finalizing the Company’s recruitment processes, evaluating your application for similar positions in the future in case of a negative outcome, contacting you within this scope, and improving and developing the Company’s recruitment policies.

3. Persons to Whom Personal Data May Be Transferred and the Purpose of Transfer
Your Personal Data processed for the purposes listed above are securely stored and will not be shared with third parties except as required by legal regulations or with your explicit consent. They may be transferred only if requested in writing by courts or public institutions/organizations within the framework of applicable legal grounds.

4. Method and Legal Grounds for Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data are obtained within the scope of the Company’s human resources policies, for the purposes of conducting and finalizing recruitment processes and contacting you within this context. Your personal data collected based on these legal grounds may be obtained through various collection methods, whether automatic or non-automatic, verbally, in writing, or electronically.

5. Rights of the Data Subject

As personal data subjects, upon submitting your requests to our Company in accordance with the procedures set out below, your requests will be evaluated and finalized free of charge within 30 (thirty) days, depending on the nature of the request.

• To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,

As the data subject, you must submit your requests to our Company in writing. In this context, in order to ensure the healthy and fast processing of your applications made under Article 11 of the KVKK, we recommend submitting your request together with the required supporting documents/information and identity verification documents either in person, via registered mail, or through our KEP (Registered Electronic Mail) address.
